I have been a child of nature playing in the same woods of South Jersey that American poet and naturalist Walt Whitman frequented. In the 1980’s, I was heavily influenced by the magazines and films of National Geographic. Since becoming a professional filmmaker, I have been filming wildlife and nature around the world where I have developed a deep empathy for nature. By utilizing the images I capture to create entertaining media, I also hope to raise awareness of issues that affect Earth’s fragile and dwindling natural environments that will lead to social action and protection.
